It’s going to be a good month for Pokémon fans, as Sword and Shield DLC details and a whole bunch of gigantamax pokémon are coming tomorrow.

Things have been relatively quiet regarding the upcoming expansions for Pokémon Sword and Shield, which will be adding new areas and pokémon to the two games.

However, the Pokémon Japanese Twitter account posted earlier today that we can expect to see some new details about them very soon, tomorrow in fact.

Specifically, they’ll be revealed at 10pm Japanese time, which translates to 2pm BST / 9am ET / 6am PT.

There’s no hint as to whether the announcement will take the form of a video or a short blog post. The first expansion, Isle Of Armor, is supposed to be releasing later this month, so we can probably expect an exact release date at the very least.

Although it might be best to prepare yourself for a delay, as Nintendo has warned that its development process has been badly affected by the coronavirus.

Those who won’t be purchasing the DLC can still look forward to something coming to the base game, namely a lot of opportunities to catch gigantamax pokémon.

According to fan site Serebii, a news post published in Pokémon Home has announced the next Max Raid Battle event, which will feature a grand total of 22 different pokémon.

There will 10 exclusive Pokémon for each version, but Snorlax and Toxtricity will be available in both Sword and Shield.

It should be noted, though, that in Toxtricity’s case, the gigantamax form it takes will depend on which version you’re playing.

In Sword, you can catch its Amped form, while Shield players can find its Low Key form.
