Dr Disrespect has designed a map in Rogue Company to be just like him

Gaming personality Dr Disrespect has helped design a level and been added to the third person shooter, Rogue Company.

Rogue Company is a free-to-play tactical shooter from first time developer First Watch Games and published by Paladins’ Hi-Rez Studios.

It pits two teams against each other in quick-fire rounds, where the last team standing gets a point, similar to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or Rainbow Six: Siege.

The game has already served 8 million players and now Hi-Rez Studios has enlisted Dr Disrespect as both a character and a level designer.

Players who log-in now will be able to buy a skin to play as Dr Disrespect, allowing his fans to jump into the shoes of the character streamer.

Dr Disrespect also helped create a new level in the game called The Arena. Hi-Rez Studios describe it as a speedy map, designed to promote immediate combat and fast-paced wins.

Before he shot to fame as the Dr Disrespect character, Herschel Beahm was a level designer on Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. So, while it may seem like a bad idea to have a streamer design a level, he does thankfully have experience in the area.

On the collaboration, vice president of Hi-Rez Studios said: ‘As we brainstormed opportunities, Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm became a prime target.

‘We felt his career background and Rogue Company had a perfect synergy and creating a map together would be the most unique way to fold Dr Disrespect into our gaming world.’

This collaboration comes at a strange time for Dr Disrespect, who was kicked off of the Twitch platform earlier this year. The reasoning behind the indefinite suspension has remained largely a mystery, with Twitch only citing ‘violated community guidelines.’

Beahm has maintained that Twitch has not given him a specific reason for his ban.

After a brief hiatus, Dr Disrespect returned to streaming on YouTube in early August.
