What is easily one of the Xbox Series X’s best features unfortunately doesn’t work with certain games, at least for now.

Among the many features Microsoft has touted for the Xbox Series X/S, Quick Resume is possibly one of the most impressive ones.

With it, you can pause one game, switch to another, and then later pick up immediately where you left off in the first game. Some pre-release previews said that you could have six games going at once.

However, with the console now in the public’s hands, some are starting to discover that Quick Resume doesn’t work with every game.

Though there’s no complete list, TrueAchievements has tested a handful and discovered that the feature has been disabled for at least the following games:

Chances are that there are other games as well and, for the time being, you’ll have to find out the hard way whether Quick Resume works for them or not.

As for why this is, Microsoft has opted to disable the feature for certain games because they were experiencing undefined issues.

According to Jason Ronald, Microsoft’s Partner Director of Program Management, Microsoft is working to fix Quick Resume for these games, and they will become available once they’ve been tested.

The Xbox Series X/S is available now.
